Sun Communities uses an internal team of recruiters. In addition to this, they require all applicants to complete an application within their companies jobs site. I was first informed that a phone interview was requested. I confirmed a date and time for the phone interview. The interviewer used a script which included the standard questions. It was not a warm introduction to the company as the recruiter basically wanted to get through their script in order to get me to the second phone interview. The second phone interview was with the Regional VP of Sales. This phone interview was professional and personable. Once I completed the interviews I was able to see my application was marked as "being considered". The process appears to take a great deal of time. If I were to provide useful feedback to the employer, I would recommend they expedite their process as most qualified applicants receive multiple offers and they risk losing a great candidate due to the prolonged waiting period.
