Contacted by recruiter through linked In. Next steps- HR called to get basic details and then another HR(senior to the previous one) called to discuss the details and to schedule a phone screening interview with the recruiting manager. This process took 3-4 weeks.
The phone screening was with the Recruiting Manager about 30-45 mins and focused on questions about your current profile and position at Suntrust.
HR contacted me a week after this phone screening to schedule an onsite interview with 5 other people. The onsite interview was scheduled 2 weeks after the phone interview.
The onsite interview was again behavioral, people despite their busy schedule were warm to talk to. No HR was available either before or after the interview, to let you know when you can expect to hear back.
Ideally, you expect to hear back in a week or may be 2 weeks if the answer is yes or no. Here there was no communication. Reached out to HR after 3 weeks to check the status but didnt receive any response. 6 weeks after this I see that the position is closed, but still there was no communication that you are not selected.
Interview process was good, but would have appreciated if atleast was notified if I am been considered further or not( some response).
