I applied online. I interviewed at Sunrun (New Haven, CT) in Jan 2023
Interview
That was the biggest joke interview I ever had. It was not really an interview was 3-4 guys in one interview getting told that everybody in the company makes $500,000-$1 million a year selling solar supposedly.. after they give you their sales pitch everybody's hired right off the bat . No job experience no sales experience. You literally could just walk off the side of the road and get a job here. They're literally desperate for anybody. It's kind of embarrassing for a company that big supposedly that you can make 500,000 year selling solar panels but you have to beg people during the interview to take the job
Very quick process, promised to be in one site. Once on-boarding was complete- it was expected of me to travel to another county to participate in a Team meeting. Also, it was expected of me to visit multiple sites instead of the one site I applied for.

Interview
Friendly, relaxed and informative. There were some hardball questions disguised as softball questions but the overall vibe was warm and non threatening. Make sure you read up on the company and its leadership, as well as current trends in the solar industry.
