Very disorganized overall. Process is a phone screen with recruiting, video call with a senior engineer, and a series of 4 panel interviews over a few weeks. Two of the panel interviews were the worst experiences I've had in recent memory. Initial screens were pleasant enough; managers and recruiters were overall nice and competent. The two engineers I interviewed with during the panel were condescending and gave interviews structured more like pop quizzes on concepts that didn't really apply to the position. Neither of them even knew which team I was interviewing for. One was late, obviously unprepared, and responded in ways that made it clear they were not listening to what I actually said, asked me to share Notepad for a code session (I fortunately had VSCode installed) and was impatient when it took 30 extra seconds to share my screen. They told me to use "any language I was comfortable in" and after solving the problem in JavaScript twice, they were not satisfied, clearly looking for one specific way to do it, and demanded a Java solution that was less efficient and more complicated. (Ironically, I had already solved a far larger version of this problem for a prior position, which I received an offer for; the solution is on my Github.) Both seemed more interested in flexing what they knew than finding out what I knew. I would never interview here again.
