Superhuman Data Scientist interview questions

I had a great interview experience with Grammarly. Mark, my recruiter, was proactive about keeping me informed on timelines and when to expect decisions, which kept the whole process (relatively) stress free. After the initial round of interviews, he also helped setup several informational interviews on short notice to accommodate my schedule. The process was a initial phone screen, take-home and then 5-6 1:1 interviews (virtual on-site). Enjoyed speaking with everyone at the virtual on-site as well.

1. 1 hour interview to discuss my prior work, learn about the role and team, and answer some product case questions 2. 45 minute interview with SQL questions and product/business case questions 3. 1 hr interview to discuss my strengths and improvement areas at each step of my career trajectory 4. 1 hr SQL and case study 5. 1 hr a/b testing case study 6. 45 minute product knowledge interview with a PM 7. 30 minute interview to discuss what I've enjoyed/not enjoyed in my career trajectory The sections that focused on understanding my professional values and progression were very thorough and meant to encourage meaningful retrospection. I did not experience anything like it from interview processes at other companies, and I thought it demonstrated very well how much Grammarly cares about their values. The whole process was really smooth. I was given a very helpful interview guideline detailing what to expect and how to prepare for the virtual on-site. And the recruiter regularly checked in during the whole process to coordinate with my interview process with other companies. Really enjoyed the discussions with all the interviewers and appreciated the focus on analytical thinking and communication.
