I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman
Interview
The recruiting rep reached out to me via LinkedIn and it was a struggle off the bat. I confirmed a time but for a phone call then never heard anything back nor received a calendar invite so I requested to reschedule.
That took a couple days, but we sorted it out. I confirmed a time, but never received a calendar invite. I sat, waiting for a call that I never got only to receive an email from the recruiter that I missed our call... apparently there was an invite sent with no email notification so 1. I, again, got no confirmation and 2. Was unaware that this call was now a video call.
Finally sorted THAT out and made it to a phone call. Talk went fine, but at the end I was told about some pretty specific experience that was required, but not actually listed anywhere in the JD. If anyone at Grammarly is reading this, please... stop doing this.
At the end of the call i was told I would be moving on to speak with the hiring manager but was also notified they had someone in the reference stage process. If you're in final stages and just looking for candidates to compare to, please don't promise those candidates a next step when there isn't one. I had to follow up via email twice before getting a generic rejections.
Up your game with candidate experience. I'm not at all upset about not moving forward but it does pain me, as someone who recruits, to have to have gone through this broken process of yours.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We want to ensure that candidates have a quality interviewing experience and will be sure to share this feedback with our team.
