      Area Tech Lead Interview

      Mar 8, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Superhuman (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2023

      Interview

The first phase was a chat with the hiring manager to review the role and expectations. The second phase consisted of 6 60-minute interviews and one 30-minute coffee chat with a couple of team members. The six interviews were - system design - architecture - product partnership - 2x behavioral / values - past project review The last phase was a series of 4 reference checks covering: a previous manager, a cross-functional partner, and a previous mentee or technical collaborator. I worked with a sourcer for the first phase, and a recruiter through the remainder of the process.
