Interview
The interview process was lengthy, but I had good conversations with everyone on the team. I met separately with seven people (including the recruiter) over the course of the month. Almost everyone asked me the same standard two questions at the start of each interview: Why Grammarly and why this position?
The interview process also included a mock prospect/discovery call. They provided a slide deck to help guide the conversation, which was a bit confusing seeing as (in my experience) BDRs rarely screen-share during an actual prospecting call. They wanted to see how I'd handle objections. They wanted to see how I set an agenda, stuck to it, answered questions, and how well I understood their product.
It was brief and 4 stages. I was gotten back to pretty quickly. I didn't get the job because of me saying the wrong thing in the final steps. Not the hardest interview, just looking for specific answers.

Interview
I recently went through the hiring process for a BDR role and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The recruiter provided incredible guidance, keeping me updated with clear instructions and timely feedback at every stage.
What stood out most was the team I met during the interview process. Every conversation felt authentic and collaborative, which made me feel comfortable and even more excited about the mission. It’s rare to find a process that is this organized while still feeling so human. I’m thrilled to be joining such a thoughtful and high-performing team!
