      Support Manager Interview

      Jan 20, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Redwood City, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Support.com (Redwood City, CA)

      Interview

I worked at this company before but was whisked away as part of an acquisition. Years later, I was referred to this company by someone who decided to return. I came onsite for an interview, after they decided to forgo the phone screen since they knew of me. I then remembered why this company does so poorly. HR, hiring manager, never bothered to loop me in on why they passed, or even next steps, the poor souls who interviewed me seemed stretched thin and only asked one question, which they must have thought was insightful. What a waste of time, and a little offensive for a place I used to call home. I think that the head of HR had just quit the previous week, so that might explain some of it. In the end, I'm very happy that it worked out this way, but a very depressing and strange experience. Didn't even get the "we've decided to go with another candidate." Just radio silence.
