Interview
I had a very poor experience with the HR associate. The lady was very rude and was practically shouting on the phone.
There was a disagreement on the joining date. I had very clearly informed that there is a stipulated 60 day notice period in my present organization. I even clarified the same before coming down for my 2nd round of interview. I was assured that it will be taken into consideration.
After the completion of the entire process and after being selected as a senior TSE, The offer letter that was rolled out mentioned the joining date as 26th March. I put down my resignation letter on the very day the offer was rolled out i.e - 18th Feb. It gave me only 36 days of notice period.
I tried explaining that this will not be possible, but I was not given any chance to even have a decent conversation. She would just not let me speak and kept repeating that if I do not join by the date mentioned, the offer will be revoked.
This was a very disappointing and demeaning experience. A waste of time for everybody involved in the process. The only positive outcome of it was that my present company offered me a promotion and hike which motivated me to take my resignation back.
