      Lean Leader Interview

      Jul 12, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Swagelok

      Interview

Applied to positions that were a close fit, selected for a phone interview for lean leader. Phone interview had to be rescheduled twice due to HR being unable to commit to provided time slots. I waited for promised feedback based on input from their side, then followed up a week to hear "I have not heard anything so cant really tell you anything". This is similar to another collegues experience that had issues during an actual offer process. Be careful and keep another offer in your pocket just incase.

      Lean Leader Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Solon, OH
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Swagelok (Solon, OH) in Aug 2017

      Interview

A Swagelok representative contacted me via LinkedIn to discuss an opportunity that they believed my background was tailor suited for. After a quick phone screening with the recruiter, and filling out an application online, I was brought onsite for an interview within 3 weeks. The interview consisted of a Watterson Test and interviews with the site director and corporate support. Interview questions were conversational in nature, and did not appear to come from prefabricated behavioral based screenings. The structure of the interviews was fairly standard, but the coordination of the process was poorly executed. Many little issues presented themselves through the process, such as the recruiter consistently failing to spell check emails and the automated application system getting stuck in a loop as I tried to submit (bringing me back to the home screen). The recruiter also changed the date and time for the interview no less than 3 times (including not notifying me of a change until less than 24 hours prior). Upon arriving, there was no point of contact for the interview, and no way to contact anyone at the site. I ended up calling the recruiter who apologized for not having anyone there to greet me. After a fairly engaged conversation during the segment with the final interviewer, he told me I could show myself out, and that the recruiter would get in contact with me. Finally, the recruiter ghosted me, ignoring emails and phone calls after promising feedback within the day. Overall, professionalism and courtesy were lacking, even if they knew they didn't want to offer me the role. The role ultimately was reposted, and I received an automated email informing me that I was not selected, shortly after the recruiter finally returned communication nearly 3 weeks after the interview.
