I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Swagelok (Solon, OH) in Sep 2016
Interview
Dull, interviewers were dumb and uneducated. Racist and sexist. Schefuled interview times were very inconvenient, i.e. very early morning.. Many delays as interviewers were not prepared. Relied heavily on a meaningless perdibsliry test.
A lot of nonsense fluff questions- like the recruiting had no idea what they are interviewing for. “What is your Brad” “what are your hobbies” “What is latte” “What do you know about swagelok”
I applied online. I interviewed at Swagelok (Solon, OH) in Sep 2017
Interview
Several calls from the recruiter which where pushy. Postponed interview a couple times, interview was weirdest I ever had. Felt like the just wanted young people with experience and pay them low.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Swagelok
Interview
First did a phone screen with an human resources professional. Then attend an in-person interview with multiple managers in a single day, including the site manager. There was a test at the end.

Question 1
Questions were mostly conversational rather than specific assessment questions. It was a pleasant experience, not too stressful. There was also a written test about mechanical concepts and manufacturing processes. also some personality questions.
