Applied to this position right out of college. The director reached out to me on LinkedIn to meet over teams. He asked me a little about myself and my work/academic experiences. He also explained the position to me in more detail. It took roughly 30 minutes.
After a follow-up email, I was asked to complete a small project relating to my interest in the position and some of the work that the company does. I got it back to the director the next day and was then invited to a second interview at their New York office.
The second interview was with the director and three team leaders at the company. Each of the team leaders introduced themselves to me and described their roles before asking me a little bit about myself and my experiences. Then, they asked me more specific questions regarding my abilities to work in their team, as a research analyst, and as a customer service representative. Last, I was given the chance to ask them questions. It took roughly 45 minutes.
There was supposed to be a third interview in which I would've met with some of the research analysts from other branches of the company, however, the team from the second interview felt that they were satisfied, allowed me to skip the final interview, and offered me the job.
All in all, the interviewers were very pleasant, and the interview process was both thorough and professional without being overly intimidating.
