      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Swedish (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2010

      Interview

As I lived out of state when I applied for my position, all 4 of my interviews were conducted by phone. The first was with the HR recruiter. The second was with the hiring manager. The third was with the hiring manager and the team I would be working with. The fourth was with the hiring manager and the managers of the departments I would be supporting in the organization. Further, because of the economy when I was interviewing (2010), Swedish was unable to bring me in for an in-person meeting/interview. Because of that, I met with the Team Lead for the hiring manager when she was traveling to my area. We met for coffee and she further interviewed me to address concerns raised by the team and departmental managers about my seeking a position in a city to which I had never been. She was gracious and offered pointers to cement my position as the top applicant. I was contacted by HR a couple of days later with an offer of employment. I rated the interview difficulty as "Difficult" because the process was long with multiple interviews (essentially 5 interviews total including HR's interview to establish my qualifications).

      Question 1

I was asked if I would be willing to pay for a trip to Seattle to interview without the possibility of being reimbursed.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Swedish (Seattle, WA) in May 2015

      Interview

Formal interview, about an hour and a half in length. Asked what I had to offer Swedish, what kind of experience would help me perform adequately, etc. Good experience overall.
