The interview process took five months for an entry-level position. During those five months, I completed multiple 1:1 interviews, group interviews, and projects. The last round included a three-hour interview where I had to present a 20-minute presentation on "why I was fit for the job", and role-played various scenarios I would face in the TDR position. After five months, I ended up not getting the job.
I formed a good relationship with what would've been my potential manager. She was the one to inform me that I didn't get the job, but I was runner-up. She told me that the TDR role was opening back up in 2 months, and if I waited it would be mine. I checked in with her a month after that initial conversation to get updates on the position timeline. She told me it was still on track to hire soon. After two months, she told me to wait an additional month, and the job would be mine. After I waited ANOTHER month, she stopped replying to my emails and fell through her word.
This process was long and unprofessional. I understand interview processes can take some time, but I found it to be unprofessional to be told I would get a job that would never happen. I value honesty and transparency while looking for a job, and I did not find that with Swiftly.
