I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2021
Interview
The interview process was long and fair.
Step 1: A cognitive ability test to answer numerical and reasoning questions in a short time.
Step 2: One-way video interview to answer 5 fit questions. Some were a bit tricky but not too hard.
Step 3: One-on-one interview with a senior data scientist. In-depth questions about the projects I have done, knowledge of different ML tools, and their applications.
Step 4: Assessment of occupational personality questionnaire. The test is not timed, but it asks questions about your behavior and personality in the context of workspace situations.
Step5: Interview with one of the heads of the teams. Open discussion about the motivation and my experience for the job.
After I passed through all these, the final interviewer told me that I will be hearing from them shortly. Then for the next 6 weeks absolutely no reply from them (even after follow-up emails). Then one and half months later I get the email that they cancelled the position entirely. Never expected this from such a big company, that they would waste both the candidates' and their time and resources if they are not sure if they can hire people for their famous graduate positions.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Bengaluru) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had two round
the first one was with the hiring manager where I was only asked questions on my resume.
the second one was a Live case study round - here again the interviewer himself asked to use online recourse to answer the question and clearly mentioned that he wasnt looking for any one with ' coding knowledge ' because its easy now a days given the GPTs ability to write codes. but the nerves really got to me and messed up the interview.

Interview
First was the technical round. Questions were about SQL that was easy and Python code snippet. Other questions were also aksed from resume and past experience. Basically, they asked me if I can handle a project single handedly.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Manchester, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
The company's recruiter initially contacted me and scheduled an interview with the Manager of the role. The interview itself was very positive, and the Manager was both friendly and professional. I openly acknowledged that I lacked one specific requirement for the role, which ultimately was the reason I wasn’t successful. Despite this, the overall discussion was encouraging.
However, after the interview, the recruiter never responded to my follow-up messages or communicated with me again. This gave the impression that their priority was solely to meet their targets rather than genuinely assisting candidates. While this approach is understandable, it felt quite unprofessional and left a negative impression.
