I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Armonk, NY) in Nov 2015
Interview
Had 4 rounds of behavioral interview before getting invited to the Assessment Day. Behavioral interviews were easy and none of them consisted of technical questions. During assessment day, we were given 3 tasks. The first was an individual case study, second group case study and final one was a role play. These assessments were not very fair as they were all catered towards business majors (finance case studies) and had barely any computations in it. It did not give technical majors a chance to showcase our skills despite the quantitative roles of the positions we applied for. You could have no knowledge on reinsurance/insurance and still be able to get the job. Overall, I'd say if you are a technical major ( compsci, math, stat), you will not enjoy this interview.
Many steps:
- Test Ability
- Digital Interview
- Personality Test
- Final interview with a case study
The process begins in September and the final answer arrived end of January, so long process. The case study was interesting and the final contact with team and HR was very nice, it is however a long process for only one position in the end.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Swiss Re in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied online (found the job post via LinkedIn). I uploaded my CV and a cover letter. After a couple of days, I got a phone interview. We briefly went through my CV and some basic questions (e.g. my motivation for this job and for the company, why I want to move to the country, etc.). Then, I received via e-mail 2 tests. After that step, I got invited to the assessment center on the company's premises. Overall the experience was great!
