I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Swissport (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied online. A few days later I received an email saying to come to a interview near the airport. All first interviews are group interviews! FYI, get there early to sign in! After the room is full (about 40 people) they explain what the company does...which is provide the other airlines with contract workers. This includes baggage/ramp workers, customer service, etc. It is cheaper for the airlines this way. After the explanation about "what they do", we were told they only hire for 20 hrs at about $10.25 an hour. No benefits, no flight benefits. You have to be able to work EARLY (4:30-5 am) and late (any time between 3:30-midnight). Shifts are 5 hours long. Anyone who doesn't have open availability-don't waste your time. If you want more money-don't waste your time. Group session started at 11 am, I didn't get out of there until almost 3. Some were still there because they had signed in after me. If you don't have that kind of time-don't bother going. Anyone who could speak any Asian language were offered jobs that day. Otherwise you are put on "the list" and and a "no". If you have worked for the airlines already, its a plus. Come dressed like you want the job. Some didn't and they were put on the "no" list. *If you can't pass the background check and don't have documents to get certified through "the government system", you will not get hired. 2nd interviews, we were told, will be scheduled AFTER they go through at least 2-3 other 40 people sessions...then the best of the best will be called back.

Te contactan por mail a una entrevista online grupal y luego a la presencial, son amables y cordiales, me gustó la entrevista aunque no quedé, lo unico negativo es que tu postulacion qjeda en la nada porque no te avisan si no quedas.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Swissport (Bristol, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Had a 1 to 1 interview with very friendly representatives. The interview was chill and the questions were what you’d expect- scenario based and just trying to work out if you align with their company.

Question 1
Name a scenario where I worked with a colleague to diffuse a situation
Only HR were involved in the process and interview, very efficient and detailed but the lack of possibility to talk to the manager before the job was odd to me
