I interviewed at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions
Interview
A series of phone calls and interviews culminating in a presentation to the team and resulting QA. Great to meet people across the organization and across the various offices. Was kept relatively well informed throughout but could have been handed off between HR more seamlessly.
I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
Standard - two round consulting interview. Upfront Case + case & behavioral. Second round (Med. Affairs) consultant was openly rude - made me not want to work there. Also, required a presentation. Prompt asks for a clear story, it became clear they wanted a slide monkey. No thanks. Interviewers were not prepared with meaningful questions, and HR did not provide good instructions / prep for candidates (for example - this was a university recruiting-initiated interview, but interviewer names / schedule were not provided until morning of interview and interviewers did not realize candidates had not yet specialized. Terribly disorganized. Also, I did not meet a "consultant" who had been in the role I was applying for with more than 1yr experience. The short tenures plus my interview experience put up many red flags about corporate culture. I leave with the impression that this place isn't about hiring the best workers, but about protecting their turf.... and looking for people to do their work for them... not to train, develop and grow. Over 4 extended touchpoints, the word "develop" was not once used. They want slide monkeys. This may be good experience for some, for others, beware.
