I had a screening call with the recruiter who then passed my information onto the hiring manager. Had an hour interview with the hiring manager and a follow up brief call. the whole process took 2 weeks.

A few rounds, first is a casual phone call with HR, then you go onto a second interview with a manager and an observer. Last interview is with national director. All were very welcoming and pleasant just be prepared to answer sales questions.

I had every qualification that was listed on the Syneos posting. I contacted the recruiter for the posting. The recruiter kept putting me off. After six weeks of trying to talk with the recruiter, I received an email stating "I will see if our DM is open to someone who has been out of the market for a bit!" I never heard back from the recruiter until my resume was sent directly to the hiring manager from a sales representative. I received a call from the recruiter the following morning. Let me fast forward, I had a face to face interview with the hiring manager. During the interview, I asked the manager if he had an issue with me being out of pharmaceutical sales for a couple of years. He directly told me he did not have an issue with it all! He was confident that I would jump right back into pharmaceutical sales. The manager also told me I had more experience in the class of drug being promoted than he did. The interview with the manger was very pleasant. It was a great conversational interview. Unfortunately, I was not extended an offer. I know who got the job and the reason say that person got the job over me. I will say, it was not my qualifications. The recruit did tell me that the manger said I was an excellent candidate and should be considered for other openings. I feel the recruiter will not contact or consider me! Over the past eight years, I have applied for over 49 positions with inVentiv Health/Syseos Health. The positions have been in two different states with the same recruiter. I am an excellent award winning candidate. I feel I have been discriminated against. Syneos does not inform you when are no longer being considered for a position that you have applied for. How unprofessional! I would NOT recommend anyone applying or even working at Syneos Health.
