Interview
This job application was a very easy process overall. They asked a few questions about previous work experiences. They also made me feel welcome and a part of the team already, even though I was only interviewing.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Synovus (Marietta, GA)
Interview
I received an email suggesting I apply on the Synovus Company Website and completed the somewhat lengthy application (they use ADP). Then I received an invitation to complete an online assessment. The assessment was situations of different types of customers coming into the bank and you had to choose appropriate actions and responses based on some provided bank guidelines. General customer service skills, recognizing account numbers on checks, making change, attending to guidelines of the bank, and knowing different products were important. After passing the assessment I was invited to to branch, had a casual and comfortable interview with the head teller and branch manager and was offered the job the same day. Very professional and welcoming company.

Interview
I applied for the job online and was called a few days later to schedule an interview for the following week. I met with the Regional Market Manager and Head Teller at the branch location. I walked in feeling very nervous but was calmed by the laid back nature of the interview. They asked me a series of standard questions and scenarios which came from a company handbook. I answered each question to the best of my ability. At the conclusion, the Head Teller introduced me to the rest of the branch staff. I left feeling confident but unfortunately was not offered the position.
