Sysmex America Health Systems Manager interview questions

Overall, the interview process went very well (until the end - read on) and I was told multiple times by everyone I interviewed with that I was a leading candidate. The hiring manager personally called me before my vacation to reassure me that it was down to myself and one other candidate. “Don’t worry - have a great vacation and I’ll be in touch.” We had built great rapport and I felt very confident about the position. I never heard from her again. A month later I sent an email to their internal recruiter requesting an update and he replied with a canned form letter stating that the job had been filled. Sysmex ghosted me. After multiple interviews and proactive, unsolicited reassurances, they should have had the basic courtesy to inform me that I didn’t get the job. This is very rude and unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company.
