It began with a phone interview with HR, followed by a phone interview with hiring manager, then finally face to face with hiring manager. I was asked to submit the information/permission for a background check, and told i would be scheduled for a panel interview. I didn't hear anything for over a month. Finally i received and email notifying me that position went to internal candidate. Everyone was very professional, until the end. Keeping me waiting without communication for over a month was rude.
