I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Jul 2017
Interview
The whole process took over 7 weeks. I had the initial interview with the recruiter, then a phone interview with the hiring manager and a Skype panel interview with a team of 4. At this point they go ahead and put me through background, which comes back fine so they schedule an in person interview with senior leadership. When the recruiter called to do this, she told me I was the "front runner" so she wanted to make sure to get it scheduled asap. The team flew in, we had what I considered to be the best out of all 4 of the interviews, but about a week later I received an email stating they were going with another candidate. I asked for feedback, in hopes of learning something from this, but no one replied.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process took far longer than I was expecting. Additionally, it felt like the person interviewing me felt rushed. With recent layoffs, it seems like maybe I dodged a bad situation anyways.

Very structured and fast follow up from recruiters. There was a phone interview first followed by an interview with the hiring manager and then senior leadership which was the senior director.
I sat down with the manager and he explained the process- there was a list of questions that HR provides so that everyone gets the same questions. He also explained what the role's responsibilities were.
