I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2014
Interview
The process was fairly straight-forward. I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen, and had a follow-up with her about a week later, after which I met with the hiring executive. The recruiter was wonderful - she was very thorough and asked great questions, and was able to give lots of detail about the role and the executive(s) I would be meeting with. The interview with the hiring manager was very unpleasant - he was brusque to the point of rudeness, and seemed to think it was okay to talk down to me as if I were a teenager rather than a professional with twenty years of experience. It was obvious that the culture there was argumentative and disrespectful, I was not surprised at all not to hear back from him (was even glad about it). I was surprised though that I never got any sort of follow-up from the recruiter telling me "thanks, but no thanks" -- I would have expected at least that since she was so great otherwise.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Both the recruiter and the hiring manager asked very pointed questions about my experience, looking for specific examples (backed by data!) of situations that applied to the role. I did like that they were very specific about the type of person they were looking for -- even though the one guy was so unfriendly, it was clear that there is a perfect person for the position.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile
Interview
Typical behavior interview questions. Tell me about a time when. Basically they are looking for a story where you weave in your key words and the things you want to highlight about yourself

Question 1
Tell me how you view diversity and it's importance in the work place.
Lengthy interviews. First phone interview, then zoom, then another three Zoom interviews. It wasn't even for a 6 digit job. To much time from only potential candidates not taking into consideration peoples time.

Question 1
So many different interviews I many I forgot the questions.
Very extensive. I had 10 interviews, all were on zoom. Each was short, just 30 mins each and HR kept me informed throughout the process. But there was a lot of repetition throughout and it seemed more for culture fit than ability discernment.
