Before TCS arrived in the campus, I spent significant amount of time in preparation, not just technical but also for HR interview. Since, my background was Rajasthan Board (Hindi Medium), I did not want to leave anything to chance when it came to communication during the interview. I spent hours and hours speaking in English with friends, learning vocab (about new 700 words), writing articles, etc. In tech, I was really an average student who would rely on fellow project team mate to finish the coding projects but would mostly out-perform them in Viva (Sorry about that). I was not good at aptitude test either - performed badly in CAT exam. To be true, out of technical, speaking and written aptitude test: nothing was my forte.
