TCS Asst. System Engineer interview questions

At TCS, the interview process includes resume screening, an initial HR call, followed by one or two technical interviews focusing on domain knowledge, communication, and problem-solving. Finally, a managerial round assesses cultural fit, adaptability, and project readiness.

After clearing the TCS NQT exam, I was shortlisted for the interview round. The process included one technical + managerial round followed by an HR round. The panel asked about my academic projects, core Java concepts, and simple coding logic. They also tested my communication, problem-solving ability, and awareness about TCS. Overall, the interview was moderate in difficulty and focused more on fundamentals and personality fit.
