I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TD
Interview
My friend me refer me to her colleague and TD person called me asked me to do the self-assessment online, which was time-consuming and anybody could easily lie since it was not that hard to figure out the reasons behind all the questions. Then HR person called me for a phone interview. 2 months later, another TD person called me. She had no idea that I had a phone interview before and asked me very insensitive questions such as "oh, you have been looking for a job for more than 6 months, how come you still haven't found a job?" She was very unprofessional and annoying.

Question 1
oh, you have been looking for a job for more than 6 months, how come you still haven't found a job?
So far in the first stages of the hiring process. Submitted application last week and within days got a message from the hiring manager (I suspect) asking for availability for a 30min video interview. A bit informal of an approach as I usually get reached out via email or phone call with more instruction on what to expect.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Gaithersburg, MD) in Mar 2026
Interview
I applied online and got an online interview with the district manager. Next, I had an interview at the specific location. I was not told it was a panel interview and the 3 managers were very unprofessional. They asked inappropriate questions, changed the question after my response, and it was overall a very toxic/humiliating one hour interview.
Was very straightforward, make sure to remain calm. Answer confidently and be honest. Try to know some fun facts about the company; they love it when you are knowledgeable and know about where you want to work. It shows that you are interested and that it's not just another job.
