The recruiter was lovely but the hiring manager was one of the rudest, most disrespectful people I have ever encountered. I was in a final stage interview, and I didn’t understand the wording he used. I asked to clarify and was met with insults and belittling. Telling me I shouldn’t be in this field (I am successfully in this role at a different company) and that I should pivot to marketing or recruiting. I told him I was happy to leave the interview at the 20 minute mark and self select out, but he wanted me to stay, not to ask questions, but continue to insult me. Not only would I want to work for this team, but I would never do business with this company.
