Interview
Began with a telephone interview (~15 mins) and was invited in to speak with the hiring manager, Jenny Thorne, face-to-face at their Old Street office. Very conversational interview rather than reading from a script. She seemed to really like me and gave me feedback right off the bat which was really nice to hear- overall was a really pleasant interviewer. Brought in 2 guys from one of the teams which she thought were a good fit for me with a similar interview process, also got good feedback from them. Was asked to come in and shadow for half a day. Upon arrival, met with the leader of the team who seemed really keen to find out if I liked football (I don't), afterwards he said he was going to find someone else to speak to me but they weren't in so he told me they'd contact me later to have me in again- bit dodgy as this wasn't the half-day shadow that I was told to expect. Later received an email rejection. Overall was a decent experience but bit of a shame that I was told things were looking really positive until meeting this one guy that didn't like me.
