I was contacted by the TEKsystems recruiting team regarding a job opportunity at a large tech company in Austin. I scheduled a phone conversation with the recruiter and she explained the initial skill assessment, which I then sent along with my resume to the hiring team. A week or so after that I had a teleconference interview with someone higher up in the hiring chain. The interview took around 40 minutes and was the only formal interview of the process. Overall it was painless and TEKsystems was easy to work with, but due to Covid-19 related circumstances communication sometimes took a while (in fact they still have not contacted me regarding this position--I am unsure if I was simply not chosen for an offer or if their hiring process has been delayed because I have not heard back). Overall a decent interview process with no "trick" questions, but make sure to follow up often.
