I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS in Sep 2017
Interview
The intereview process was 2 rounds, both in person.
The first had a case and behavioural case. Case was marketing oriented, nothing that had to be studied for.
The second interview was a full day interview at the TELUS office. The day before was a dinner at TELUS. Than, there was a case, a behavioural, and a group case. It was intensive.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS (Vancouver, BC) in Sep 2021
Interview
The first round is an individual case and behavioural questions. One hour each. The second round is another individual case (1 hour), another behavioural interview (1 hour) and a group case (1.5hr). The first round was super easy. The second individual case interview was a lot harder, not enough time to solve the case. The group case was relatively simple.

Question 1
Telus strengths and weaknesses.
Conflicts with teammates and resolution.
A time you showed leadership skills.
Long process with multiple stages, including a group case. Initial interview on campus, with a 2-day second row at the TELUS office with final 20 or so candidates. Includes networking evening and a full day of interviews (behavioural, individual case and group case). Very competitive environment. Not necessarily looking for students interested/experience in marketing; care more about culture fit.
The first round was a behavioural + case interview. For the case, you would have some time to work on the case by yourself and then present your thoughts to the interviewers. The case was pretty straightforward and qualitative. You just need to support your point with reasoning.
The final round was a behavioural + individual case + group case. The individual case in the final round was more number heavy, so knowing the math well will be very helpful. The group case was similar to a case comp setting where you would have an hour to work with your team and then present. All of the cases were marketing & telecom related, so I would suggest researching on the industry & company products prior to the interview.
