The talent Acquisition person who held my screening call was super condescending to me. He asked me to give examples of a "plan" that I put in place (that was related to the position) so I did just that-- doing my best to get super specific. A few moments later he was like: "please stop there... that's enough!!" Then he said "if you move on to the official interview, you will need to give short and concise answers... not like what you just did."
He was so abrupt about it. I wanted to say, "WHOA! I didn't ask you for your feedback, buddy... also, I'm gonna answer the questions however I want. I'm gonna be myself and if you don't like me --- byyeee!"
This guy definitely needs to soften up his approach. If that is how communication goes at this organization, it must be a nightmare to work there. I was so uncomfortable with the interaction with this guy and his attitude, all I cared about from then on was ending the phone call. I let him finish explaining the job responsibilities to me, and then I said... "I'm no longer interested!"
