You first have to fill out the paper application in the store. Then, if selected, you will get an interview with the store manager. Pretty simple and nothing too be worried about.

Interview
I was recruited so they already knew what I did at my previous job and my skill set. They talked about the company and how they operated. Day to day functions.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Long Beach, CA)
Interview
It was a cattle call style hiring process for a new store. They have a bunch of managers from other stores around the county come in a big room with many desks and they have you wait in line with resume and other paperwork that you had to fill out on the spot. It was a very easy interview if you have customer service experience. Otherwise you are stuck answering questions about customer service and problem solving.
