I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2016
Interview
Pretty short. They seemed desperate. They asked a bunch of questions then they explained how it is related to the job. Two other managers were also present and they kept talking which was pretty rude but it didn't matter. It wasn't bad at all. I knew they needed people so they hired me.
First interview is short and over the phone.
Second is in person going over the position, and getting to know you. Super straight forward, will be easy if you have previous retail experience.
It was quick and easy. Very straight forward, but thorough. It was in person and I got a call the next day that i was hired. This was three years ago so it might be different now.
The interview consisted of A brief Phone screen followed by an in person interview that lasted about 30 minutes. Questions were relayed to experience from last jobs and responding to customer service scenarios.
