Interview
I applied online and was called that same week for an interview. I was not actually able to make the first interview time however the hiring manager was very flexible and allowed me to pick another day and time. I showed up and was greeted by the cashiers upfront and almost immediately the hiring manager came over introduced himself and walked me back to office. He seemed to be very impressed and asked me to stay and meet with the other assistant store manager. I met with him right away as well and they both agreed that I would be a better fit for a merchandise coordinator instead of just an associate. I was then asked to come in the next day to meet with store manager and was hired the next day.
Asked about availability and we chatted about that for a bit, also asked me a little bit about myself but that felt more like a conversation than an interview. Seemed mostly concerned about availability, which makes sense due to them being a bit understaffed.
