      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at TK Elevator

      Interview

I initially met with recruiters at a job fair and enjoyed my first experience. I was scheduled for an interview the following day. The interview was not hard at all and once again, it was more enjoyable than stressful. I was told I would be hearing back about the next steps. After a few weeks and a lot of Linkedin networking, I met with one of their managers. He seemed to be impressed by our meeting and said that the next step would be an in-person interview in 3 weeks. 2 months later I finally got a hold of the manager I had met with and he scheduled an interview with me in their office. I went in extremely prepared, studied, well-rested and sharp. I met with several different managers and only one of them had serious interview questions for me. Everyone seemed to be a bit unprepared and careless. Nonetheless, I was told they felt I was a good fit and not to worry. I left that day feeling confident. A month passes, I cannot get a hold of anyone. Two months pass, still nothing. Finally, I receive an email saying that one of the managers would call me to speak at X time that day, no call. I sent many follow up emails, no reply. I finally decided to call one of them a few days later, I was told that he was busy for about an hour then he would be free the rest of the day to speak. 2 hours pass, no call. I sent texts and emails asking if he had forgotten or if we could reschedule. Nothing. It sounded like such a great opportunity with tons of potential. Everyone I had met was smiling and we had a quality (and mostly informal) conversation. I was told many times that I was a good fit for the position. It was extremely frustrating having a professional push me off with no intentions of following through. If that branch could figure out the hiring process and establish that communication is necessary regardless of who they are dealing with, they would be twice as successful. Piss-poor communication, and even worse professionalism.
