Interview
I had a very positive experience. I was recruited through LinkedIn and my recruiter was very involved and great at keeping in contact. The overall process went as follows: Contacted by recruiter through LinkedIn > phone conversation with recruiter to identify if I am a good fit for the position > video call with the hiring manager > completed a case study to present to final interview > final interview consisted of two panels with two team members in each one for an hour.
I learned a lot about the company before getting hired and the enthusiasm from every person I spoke to was contagious You can tell the company really cares for their employees while creating innovative and ground breaking software. Through the interview process, I learned a lot about how the team works and they asked lots of questions to get to know me professionally and for company fit.

Question 1
Describe a time when there were problems in a project, how did you manage that?
It was a 4hr loop Interview focusing on Behavioural, System Design, Managerial and Coding. Larger emphasis on System Design where I haven't met the expectations.
Managerial round was basically on resume. C++ round was in-depth about STL, memory management, smart pointers and some intrinsics of C++.
System design, the focus was on clarity of your answer rather than correctness.
The good part is they gave very honest in depth feedback explaining where I lacked. Hopefully would make it the next time.

Had 4 rounds of techincal interview, all of them were chill but got rejected even though i performed extremely well. 4 rounds were project discussion, python technical, white board, behavioural.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TORC Robotics (Blacksburg, VA) in Nov 2023
Interview
One round OA, one medium, one medium/hard, and one hard question.
Second round zoom interview, HR emailed one day before asking for project presentation at the beginning of the interview, second half of the zoom interview is one coding question medium hard.
