I met a recruiter at a job fair who set me up with an interview the next day at the office.
It was a bit unorganized as they had so many people they referred, very little was scheduled.
They had us read a chapter in the FL-Life and Annuity book, and take the test at the back of the chapter. If you passed, you moved forward to a listening test. If you passed you were interviewed by an individual. It took about 2 hours to get through the process.
They want salespeople with a clean record. If you can get licensed, they will license you. It will take about a month before you start getting any income, if you start UN-licensed.
If you are licensed, you could almost start immediately.
They offer a competitive salary and commission, fair benefits and a 40-hour work week. The only thing that prevented me from taking the position was that I didn't like being required to work the night shift.
