- Expected salary and my working experience were clearly expressed / indicated.
2nd round interview
Information Security Director (Phone Interview)
- Introduce the roles & responsibilities
- Express the expectations
Offer
- Far below my indicated expected salary.
- HR mentioned that, for the working experience I have, the group HR policy will not allow them to meet my expectation.
Conclusion
Waste of time. Poor recruitment arrangement by HR.
HR should have rejected the candidate earlier if they were unable to approximately meet the salary expectation. It is not reasonable to proceed the recruitment if the company deem that my salary expectation was far too high for them. (Yes... I do mean "far" too high)
