It was a short Interview Process with two to three rounds. All interviews were held online via Teams. There was a long Decision Time between last interview and job offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you have worked under pressure.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Cambridge, MA) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and fully virtual, conducted via Microsoft Teams without any onsite meetings. It began with an initial HR screening, followed by a detailed conversation with the hiring manager. I was then invited to give a virtual presentation on my previous work, after which I had follow-up interviews with senior team members. The process concluded with a formal offer. The experience was efficient, well-coordinated, and professionally managed throughout.
After being considered for a couple of different roles at Takeda this year, I'm convinced their management is really questionable. Do the hiring managers even know what they're looking for in a candidate? Its as if they hold a checklist in front of them and if the candidate's experience and skills don't check every single box, then he/she is no longer viable. It seems to me they don't know and/or understand how to critically think about a candidate's skills and experience that are transferable and clearly relevant. It's as if they're myopic. Perhaps this is the case in my experience. Or does it just boil down to the chosen candidates were people the hiring manager knew. Either way...management at this company raises questions.

(NOTE: I've been in the workforce 15+ years as a PM/PM at the Director level as well as an OE and Comms Manager...all clearly spelled out in my resume as well as the software packages I've worked with.)
