I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Talbots (Minneapolis, MN) in May 2015
Interview
I picked up a resume and filled it out in store, then got a call the following week. I scheduled I interview that week. The questions were normal questions nothing too hard, and then the assistant manager interviewed me and she had some harder questions. It was super busy in the mall, so make sure you try hard to keep great eye-contact with your interviewer. When I was done, I just walked in opposite direction from the store to go shop. After my interview I felt about a 50/50 chance of getting the job.
The interview was very easy, took about 15 minutes, manager was very nice, interview was more like a conversation. I got asked questions about why I would be a good fit, personality traits, and then was asked about availability each week. Overall, quick and easy interview.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Talbots
Interview
Very quick, just asked me what my experience level was, how comfortable was I with people, and things of that nature. It was a painless interview and the management made me feel very comfortable. It was a very laid back and relaxed interview, and a very positive experience.
