      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tandem Diabetes (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The company seems great, and the recruiting team is fantastic. After my initial phone call, I quickly received a callback for an interview, but the process after that moves slowly. They schedule the second video panel interview a few weeks to a month out. They cross-check your resume and dates, so it’s important to ensure everything is accurate—no guessing, as they do verify the information. If hired, they try to group you with others in the same “class” to train together, though I’m unsure if that’s a good thing or a sign of high turnover. The position I interviewed for seemed great, with a positive work culture. However, I had a friend interview for a customer service role, and their experience felt a bit more rigid. They emphasized the lack of flexibility, and the structure appeared to be more micromanaged. Overall, they seem like a good company, offering opportunities for position changes after some time. I believe the experience really depends on the role you’re in, but as I mentioned, there’s likely a chance to switch if you find your current position isn’t the right fit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask you a series of scenario-based questions about how you would handle customers, selling, and conflict resolution. They also ask questions about the company, so make sure to do your research.
