It was an in person interview without telling me what role in Hr I am being interviewed for. It was one hour interview process with a senior person. The body language of the interviewer was such that I was constantly being degraded for not knowing things which were very obviously not in my priority while I decided to give a break to my career and take care of my family. I prepared myself for an hr generic role but the interviewer was looking to hire someone who can take care of finance part like accounting and invoicing. He said he wants to hire someone who, when things go wrong not by him/her (but a colleague), should quietly take its responsibility / ownership and resolve the issue instead of pin pointing on the person who made the mistake. He called me dumb indirectly when I said I didn’t about my salary deductible. On various occasions, He did not allow me to throw my point of view or share my side of story. This interview session was so discouraging and degrading myself that I am not able to come out of this shock of being treated so badly ever in my career of 8 yrs. I had worked with many difficult bosses but this person kept criticizing me throughout the interview. He wished me good luck because he thinks that only luck can get me a job.
