I applied online. I interviewed at Tapingo (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
The interview process consisted of one phone interview and two onsites, spread out over 3 weeks.
Phone Interview - I had a 30m call with the CFO.
First onsite - I was invited onsite to interview with the CFO in person. I also interviewed with two of their current accountants from their external CPA firm. I was offered a tour of the office before leaving.
Second onsite - I met with the CEO. This was a pretty casual conversation.
Overall, the interview experience went by pretty quickly. Response time for scheduling interviews was very prompt. I felt that everyone I met was genuinely friendly, and I felt pretty confident after the final interview.
Unfortunately, after the final interview, all communication stopped. I know the implication is that they decided to move on with another candidate, but like others have expressed, a notification or response to my emails would have been the courteous thing to do, considering the time I invested into interviewing for this company.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tapingo (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
One phone screening interview and two onsite interviews with the Controller and several other management team members.
The Controller is great and has only been there for maybe 6 months. He was very accommodating and made sure to fit me in while I was in town for a few days interviewing and apartment hunting as I am relocating at the end of the month. I interviewed with the Controller, CFO, the Finance Manager, the Head of Growth Management and the Head of Delivery. They all had really well thought out questions and I enjoyed learning about the company and the position.
After my last onsite interview, I was asked for my references and given an offer a couple days later. I declined only because I went with another offer that more aligned with my future career goals. It was a tough choice! It'll be a great opportunity for whoever gets this role or any at Tapingo.

Interview
At the time, phone screen and interview were done by the CFO as he was building out the finance team. The phone interview took place about 2-3 days after I applied. I felt that the phone screen was very brief, maybe like 10-15 minutes and I was surprised to be invited for an in-person interview. My on site interview occurred a week after my phone screen and lasted for an hour between CFO and an Operations Director. Both were pleasant conversations and fairly standard interview questions were asked. No decision was sent my way as of 2+ weeks post-interview and a follow-up email was sent on my part too.
