Target Group Leader interview questions

If you meet with a recruiter at a Job Fair, they most likely will be the one to call you. I spoke to them, they took my resume, and called later. When the recruiter calls you, this is your screen phone call. They will ask you about 5 behavioral questions. Be sure you can give specific examples of scenarios to all the questions. You can't be general with these responses. It does not matter if you have never worked in a similar job because all they care about is your thought process and if you will be able to think clearly or not, so give any example, no matter how small or unrelated it is to the position you are applying for. If they like you, they will invite you to their campus for a formal interview. They interview each candidate in pairs of two or three sometimes. You will meet with about 3 or 4 differente senior group leaders who manage people like you in your area. They all have standard questions and will again ask behavioral questions and you need to give specific example. They will rate you based on your response. You do this a few times. They send you home, and either you get a e-mail saying you didn't make it, or you get a phone call with an offer. The process is very systematic. Target seems to have hired many different companies in effort to find the best way to evaluate candidates. For group leader questions you will be asked about leadership. Not much else really. Don't worry again about your technical skill cause they don't care. Just be confident!
