Interview
I was called by Target the day after I applied online. A quick phone screen was conducted by a rather humorless and unfriendly woman. I was scheduled for an in person interview the next day. During the interview, I was asked about the red card and cartwheel. I was also asked a series of behavioral questions. I was then asked to return for a second interview a few days later with the team leader. Another series of behavioral questions were asked. I was then asked to stay and meet the HR person who wanted to know things like where I see myself in 5 years. After the interviews a background check was run, which took about a week to clear.
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
