Interview
I applied for a seasonal position as a cashier and since it was for open interviews it took quite a while. I didn't get interviewed for almost 2 hours. They asked the basic questions. At the end of the interview I was told I had the job, even though she couldn't formerly offer me the position. I waited around for another 20 minutes until I was called back again and given my orientation date, which is this coming Wednesday. It was a fairly easy interview and I shouldn't have been nervous.
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
