I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (D'Iberville, MS) in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied online previous to their job fair weekend. Was called the day ahead to schedule interview during their mass hire. I went in, had to wait a few minutes. Had a preliminary interview with the front end manager. It was rather intimidating in a small cell type room. Window less, just a desk and two chairs in a 6x6 room. I'm sure it was to weed out all the lowest and red flag candidates. Next was an interview with the head of HR. He was nice. Made it very clear it was seasonal and it more than likely would not turn into a full time job, but they do keep some. Then I met with some one else who did not introduce themselves, and she gave me the job offer, pending a background check. I would be notified of orientation at a later date.

Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
