Interview
The interview was quite easy. I talked with the girl looked very easy and gentle. First thing, she told me what cashier position needed to do. Then she previewed the schedule I applied online and asked I had any plan for the holidays (I applied for seasonal). The first question was to introduce myself. Then she told me she would ask 4 questions. I did not remember remember the first three questions, the last question was to tell her the time I and my friend tried to achieve a goal. The interview was OK and I thought I could get the position but 9 days later, I got an email from Target and they rejected me.
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
